Parapan® Care
Cleaning and Care
PARAPAN® has a smooth and non-porous surface which means that dirt does not easily adhere to it. For cleaning you should only use lukewarm water and add a few drops of cleaning agent. We recommend using a soft, lint-free cloth for PARAPAN® cleaning exclusively. The cloth should be thoroughly rinsed before use.
Never wipe away dust with a dry cloth!
Do not use scouring powders or other abrasives. Do not use care products that re-introduce fatty substances.
Components made from PARAPAN® must not come into contact with organic solvents such as thinners, alcohols, fuels, acetone (nail polish remover), benzene, or carbon tetrachloride.
* Pulls and knobs can be drilled with a carbide drill bit.
Removal of marks
Polishing removes marks such as scratches and seals the surface. Polishing is only permitted after PARAPAN® is thoroughly cleaned and dried. Never use kitchen roll paper.
Best suited is a lint-free soft cloth with polish paste of 3M 09639, excentric polisher, and sufficient polish paste.
By correct use you will get an origin surface quality finish.
Very deep scratches on the surface have to be sanded with an 800 grid sandpaper first.
Marks and scratches on the surface of PARAPAN® can be easily polished.
All traces of the polishing agents must be carefully removed, for example by cleaning with Parastat.
