Holiday Kitchens requires the use of heat shields with our Cucina di Festa products. Thermofoils, although very durable, can be damaged by excessive heat. Without heat shields installed in the necessary locations, the Holiday Kitchens Lifetime Limited warranty is null and void.
Heat shields are metal strips that are 1 9/16” wide x 30” long available in black, white, and aluminum colored. When properly installed, protect cabinets adjacent to ovens, ranges, and dishwashers. They deflect heat from the cabinetry. We also recommend opening doors and drawers away from the oven during high-temperature self-cleaning cycles. Also, pull countertop appliances, such as toasters, oven grills, or coffee makers, out from under the cabinetry before use. Damage caused by excessive heat is not covered by our warranty.
