Framed Estate Design Collection
Holiday Kitchens’ Framed Estate Design Collection cabinets are constructed with the same quality as our Traditional Design Collection: there are no compromises. The Estate Design Collection features many door options in standard and full overlay, as well as many standard finish selections.
Cabinet Construction
Estate cabinets are constructed of ½” plywood sides. Tops and bottoms of wall cabinets are ½” density board. Base cabinets have ½” density board bottoms and ¾” solid wood side rails for attaching counter tops. All cabinets have ¾” x 2 9/16” wood ranging strips for attaching cabinets to the wall. Tops and bottoms of walls and bottoms of bases are glues and fastened into dados in the cabinet sides and frames.
Finished “Furniture” Ends. 5/8” plywood ends are flush with the face frame and finished in the same color. Wood grain birch vinyl is standard for all interior surfaces.
Shelves
Cabinet shelves are ¾” with vinyl applied on both sides to match the cabinet interior. Front edges are banded. Wall and base cabinet shelves are adjustable, full depth.
Doors
Cabinet doors are available in many different styles, including solid panels, mortised and tenoned framed. Create your own look with your choice of door styles, overlays, and finishes.
Drawers
Estate cabinet drawers feature 5/8” solid hardwood boxes with dovetail joints, ¾” solid hardwood fronts, ¼” maple plywood bottoms and Blum Tandemplus (full extension, self-closing) guides rated at 100 lbs. (Blumotion is an optional feature). All top edges of the drawer box are eased.
