CABINET CARE
Proper care and maintenance is made easy and will give you years of service and pride of ownership.
Laminate Care
After installation, wipe laminate areas with a damp, soft cloth. It may be necessary to use a mild liquid detergent or a non-abrasive household cleaner. Rinse with water and a clean non-abrasive damp cotton cloth.
High gloss laminate should be cleaned using the same procedure for our standard laminates. Any smears or streaks may be removed using a mild glass cleaner and a clean non-abrasive cotton cloth.
When in doubt of a particular cleaning product or detergent, please check with its manufacturer. Use of abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, sand paper, steel wool, etc., can damage the laminates. Acid or alkene cleaners will mar or permanently discolor laminates.
Occasionally streaks or smudges may appear on new laminate doors or end panels, caused by contact adhesive. This may be removed using a clean, non-abrasive cotton cloth and an adhesive solvent such as a lacquer thinner. Read and follow all warnings and instructions on the container label.
Self-cleaning waxes can be used to provide a protective coat on laminate surfaces. They can be used frequently and are available at your local supermarket.

Wood Care
Your Holiday Kitchen is coated with a Super Finish top coat system. The Holiday Finish is a high solids finish catalyzed varnish protective coating. This system is a recognized member of the "Super Finish" family that will provide you with years of durable service.
After installation and approximately twice a year, you should clean your cabinets with a mild soap (NO SILICONES OR HARSH, STRONG ABRASIVE CLEANERS). We recommend Murphy's Wood Cleaner and a damp, soft cloth. ALWAYS wipe them dry with a soft cloth to eliminate moisture. Polish your cabinets using only a top quality liquid paste wax. DO NOT use a wax that contains cleaners and/or silicone, these products have a harmful, deteriorating effect on any finish.
There are areas that cabinets are susceptible to moisture (sinks, oven, range, dishwasher areas). We recommend that you dry off moisture when it collects.
